POLICE in partnership with West Somerset Council have appealed for the public’s help following a number of incidents of graffiti in Watchet last month.
On at least four occasions the damage was caused by using spray paint on walls and houses in Goviers Lane, The Esplanade, and the Henry Davey playing fields.
Police said there was no distinct pattern to the graffiti attacks.
The council has agreed to offer a reward for information leading to the identification of the offenders, subject to a successful prosecution.
Police would like to hear from anybody who may be able to assist with information about the incidents.
They should contact Watchet Police Station on 0845 456 7000 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111, or use the secure Crimestoppers form available online at https://www.avonandsomerset.police.uk/crimestoppers/ContactForm.aspx.
